NEW STUDENTS: Blackboard accounts are activated beginning after 7:00 am on the first day of the first term for new students. Online courses are available in Blackboard as scheduled. Check your course schedule in WebAdvisor for start dates.

Planning to take Online Classes? eLearning Intro may be required. eLearning Intro is an interactive, online learning readiness assessment that students will be required to complete before taking classes online. eLearning Intro focuses on basic computer literacy, expectation management, and Blackboard proficiency – three areas identified as critical for online success – and includes self-assessment and remediation. WAKE TECH STUDENT E-MAIL ACCOUNT

Please make sure you access your Wake Tech Student E-mail Account to participate on Blackboard and adhere to the Official Communication with Students Policy. Every Curriculum student is provided with an official Wake Tech e-mail account through the Student Portal. Students must first activate their my.waketech.edu account, wait 24 hours, and then access their e-mail account through Office 365. This College-issued e-mail account is to be used for all e-mail correspondence with Instructors and other College officials. Official correspondence from the College (communications from Instructors, information about registration or financial aid, etc.) will be sent to students' Wake Tech e-mail address ONLY. Instructors and College officials may refuse to accept student e-mail sent from other addresses. For more information, visit the Student Portal and click on "Support".
